About the Opportunity
BlueBranch is seeking experienced Journeypersons and Apprentices in the mechanical trades — including HVAC (313A), Millwright (433A), and Plumbing (306A) — for a fly-in/fly-out (FIFO) construction project located approximately 1.5 hours outside of Toronto. Work is scheduled to begin mid to late July, with structured rotation schedules and accommodations included.
Schedule & Compensation
Rotations: 3 weeks on / 1 week off or 4 weeks on / 1 week off
Hours: 50 hours per week
Pay: Competitive — determined by client based on experience and trade classification
Travel & Housing:
- Flights provided for out-of-province workers
- Accommodations covered
- Daily transportation to site included
- No LOA – Workers are responsible for their own food
Required Trades & Certifications
- We’re currently hiring for the following skilled trades:
- HVAC Technician – Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic (313A)
- Industrial Millwright – Industrial Mechanic (433A)
- Plumber (306A)
- Minimum Requirements:
- Journeyperson certification OR registered apprentice status (3rd/4th year preferred)
- Valid Working at Heights certification
- Valid Elevated Work Platform (EWP) ticket
- Ability to work rotational shifts and adapt to remote jobsite conditions
- Strong mechanical aptitude and trade experience on construction or industrial projects
